ELI THEN,......WE ADOPTED AND BROUGHT HOME A LITTLE BOY FROM CHINA IN JANUARY NAMED DANG JI MIN.WE HAVE NAMED HIM ELI CHAPMAN ZHOU-KAI CARTER. HE IS 5 YEARS OLD AND JUST HAD SURGERY IN JUNE ON HIS SPINE TO CORRECT A PROBLEM THAT WOULD HAVE LEFT HIM CRIPPLED HAD HE NOT RECEIVED THE SURGERY. WHERE AS HIS NAME ONCE MEANT "LUCKY PROPERTY OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY", HE NOW HAS A NEW NAME THAT MEANS "THE LORD IS MY GOD AND MORNING SONG OF TRIUMPH." HE HAS TRIUMPHED THROUGH GOD'S GRACE OVER MANY OBSTACLES IN HIS LITTLE LIFE AND WE CAN GRATEFULLY SAY THE ELI NO LONGER HAS THE DESTINY IN LIFE TO BECOME CRIPPLED BEGGAR BUT CAN RUN,LEAP AND DANCE WITH JOY THAT JESUS HAS DEFENDED HIM AS HE PROMISED! Meet Jutka (Seora) and Maggie
	JUTKA AND MAGGIE IN ROMANIA.....We adopted Jutka Seora and Maggie from Romania in April 2002, admist the shutdown of adoptions in Romania. After trying to finalize their adoptions for 2 years, they came home to us. They were 9 and 10 years old. After many years of tears and prayers, the girls have now accepted Duane and I as their family and wow! are we in awe of what God has done in their lives.
